DESCRIPTION:Let’s Get On Track @ Watkins Glen\, NY This April!\nTwo events: One Social Drive\, One High-Performance Driving School\nJoin NEQ at one of our two events this April\, and get your car on-track.\nDriving on the historic Watkins Glen International racetrack is an incredible experience that transports you back in time to the golden age of American road racing.  This storied 3.5-mile Grand Prix circuit has hosted some of the most prestigious racing series in the world\, including Formula One\, IndyCar\, and NASCAR.\nThe track’s varied corners\, elevation changes\, and challenging surfaces have tested the skills of legendary drivers since 1956. Whether you’re an avid motorsports fan or simply seeking an unforgettable driving experience\, the opportunity to “Drive the Glen” is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that captures the rich history and unparalleled excitement of this iconic racetrack \n\nOn April 6th\, fellow Audi enthusiasts can do 3 laps behind the pace car under controlled conditions\, with the experience kicking off with breakfast at Audi Rochester and culminating in a catered lunch at the Ginny Lee Café on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.  learn more \n\nOn April 22-23\, attend our first High-Performance Driving School of the year at the Glen. Suitable for all skill levels\, the school combines classroom and on-track in-car one-on-one instruction to help drivers of any make of car improve their skills and experience the thrill of this iconic circuit in a safe\, controlled environment.  learn more\n\n\n\nOpening Day at Watkins Glen with NEQ and Audi Rochester\n\nSat\, April 6th\nJoin us and drive the track with fellow Audi enthusiasts under controlled conditions behind a pace car.  If you are an NEQ track veteran you already know what it’s like to drive the Glen at speed. But what’s it like at street speeds with your family in the car?\nThe day will begin at Audi Rochester on West Henrietta Road for breakfast courtesy of the dealership.  From there we will make our way to The Glen where we will line up and be escorted via pace car for 3 laps of this world-famous race course. \nWe have added lunch at one of the Finger Lakes oldest wineries this year!\n\nUpon completing the pace laps on the track we will rejoin as a group for a catered lunch at the Ginny Lee Café which is part of Wagner Winery. Wagner is located on Rt 414 on the East side of Seneca Lake north of Watkins Glen.\nEnjoy views of the beautiful finger lakes while you have lunch and\, perhaps\, sample Wagner’s libations.  After lunch you may continue along the Seneca and Cayuga Wine Trail to the many local wineries\, stop by the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls or return to The Glen for more paced laps on our own.\nTickets for return laps may be purchased online or at the gate.  Or relax by spending time exploring the natural wonders or shops in the Watkins Glen area.\nCosts for this event are the charitable donation to the R.A.C.E Foundation\, lunch at the Ginny Lee Café is $24 for adults\, $10 for kids 12 and under. Future Audi owners under 2 years old are free.  Choose any or all of these activities. DESCRIPTION:At Rennsport Dragon Rally\, we work hard to bring you to the best driving roads in America\, which are here in the Great Smoky Mountains and the surrounding region! What better way to spend your weekend than driving your Porsche through the gorgeous mountains\, along with several other Porsche enthusiasts. \nThe Rennsport Dragon Rally was created to share all that is great with the Great Smoky Mountains; its roads\, people\, hospitality\, scenery\, the list goes on. We will look after you for a few days of great driving\, sharing good company\, and unlock some of the secrets of this very special place we call ‘home’ \nOur mission here is to bring you on a driving adventure like no other around the country. For this adventure we will be exploring the best back roads and some of the most gorgeous scenery our great country has to offer. \nAll of our events start and end at the Fontana Village Resort\, which is less than 10 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. Here\, we will have a group driver’s meeting\, providing a full walk-through of the drives to help orientate you on the journey. You will be given a comprehensive event guide describing in detail each of the drives and stops. Each event will be different\, but we will always have some special activities planned. We will stage the cars for the drives and there will be a tour guide / lead car to create a fully guided group experience. There will be little to no cell phone signal in these mountains\, so the group will communicate with FRS walkie-talkie radios. On the Rennsport Dragon Rally\, bring your car ready to drive\, as you will spend many hours on multiple days\, driving through the country roads of the Great Smoky Mountains! This event is all about the driving experience and the interaction between many fellow Porsche enthusiasts! \nWho attends these events? We have broad range of ages and backgrounds\, which makes for a fantastic dynamic of like minded people\, with a shared passion for Porsches. So it doesn’t matter if you pull a 918 Spyder Hypercar or 944 ChampCar out of the stable\, we are all here to enjoy these cars the way Ferdinand Porsche envisioned.
