DESCRIPTION:To thank our Veterans and Active Duty military\, the Washington DC Region SCCA is announcing our annual “Helmets Off To Heroes 2023” free High Performance Driving Event\, November 11th on the Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit\, located at Summit Point WV. \nThis free event is for Veterans and Active Duty military\, to participate as a driver please bring your military ID or other proof of service to the event. \nHelmets Off To Heroes is an all day event to give Veterans and Active Duty military an enjoyable experience at the track and learn basic high performance car skills at a comfortable pace. Non-modified street cars are the perfect car for this event! All experience levels are welcome this year (from those that have never been on track to experienced drivers\, we have a driving group for you). Any driver with no or minimal track experience will have a licensed SCCA performance-driving instructor in-car with them to make the day fun and safe and customized to the driver’s goals. \nDetailed event information is provided during registration and the week prior to the event. Argetsinger Symposium on Motor Racing history. The event\, geared to both motor racing scholars and racing enthusiasts\, will take place on Friday and Saturday\, November 3 and 4\, 2023. In conjunction with the on-site sessions in Watkins Glen\, open to the public at no charge\, the Symposium hopes to provide virtual capability to allow remote attendance and participation for a modest fee. Over the last several years the Symposium has established itself as a unique and respected scholarly forum and has gained a growing audience of students and enthusiasts. \n \nThe Michael R. What better way to spend your weekend than driving your Porsche through the gorgeous mountains\, along with several other Porsche enthusiasts. \nThe Rennsport Dragon Rally was created to share all that is great with the Great Smoky Mountains; its roads\, people\, hospitality\, scenery\, the list goes on. We will look after you for a few days of great driving\, sharing good company\, and unlock some of the secrets of this very special place we call ‘home’ \nOur mission here is to bring you on a driving adventure like no other around the country. DESCRIPTION:Race registration is now open for the 2024 Parker 400 and 2024 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 on this page.  Race registration has been moved off the Off-Road Racer platform and transitioned over to UNLTD Off Road Racing. The registration process is exactly the same as it has been for The Mint 400 and The California 300 the last 3 years – with some enhancements!  Moving forward\, race results\, points standings\, photo & editorial content\, sponsors and more will live at UNLTD. \n \n2024 Unlimited Off-Road Racing Series \nThe Parker 400 – Parker\, AZ – January 10-14\nThe Mint 400 – Las Vegas\, NV – March 6-10\nThe California 300 – Barstow\, CA – October 2-6 \n \nUnlimited Off-Road Racing will host all desert car\, truck and UTV classes\, including youth\, and host motorcycles at two of their marquee events\, The Mint 400 and The California 300.   The Parker 400 will take place Wednesday\, January 10th through Sunday\, January 14th\, followed by The Mint 400\, Wednesday\, March 6th to Sunday\, March 10th\, and The California 300 from Wednesday\, October 2nd to Sunday\, October 6th\, 2024. \nREGISTER TO RACE\n\nAbout The Mint 400\n\nThe Mint 400 is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in America\, and is held each March in the treacherous foothills of Sin City. The multi-day event features a massive vehicle parade down the world famous Las Vegas Strip\, a two day festival on historic Fremont Street\, and two days of grueling off-road racing on a desolate and punishing 400-mile racecourse. \n \nNearly 65\,000 off-road and recreational enthusiasts come to watch 500 race teams in 50+ classes from 25 different states and 15 different countries go door to door\, while the Livestream coverage is beamed to over 800\,000 viewers worldwide.  No other off road race allows fans the thrilling experience of watching the top off-road race teams from around the world battle for fame and glory\, in a festival setting – complete with a luxury VIP section.
