SUMMARY:Rally! Demo Day
DESCRIPTION:Before rallying became the high-tech spectacle we know today\, it was a test of grit\, ingenuity\, and endurance across unforgiving roads and unpredictable terrain. From the dust of Europe’s postwar circuits to the mountains\, forests\, and villages that formed the stage\, rallies challenged drivers and machines to prove themselves outside the confines of a track. \nThese early rallies were about more than speed. They demanded mechanical toughness\, navigation under pressure\, and a bond between driver and car that left no room for error. They captured the imagination of enthusiasts across the world and helped define what it meant to truly master the road. \nWhile modern rallying continues to evolve\, its roots remain in the daring drivers and remarkable machines that conquered the original courses. \nThis Demo Day is a tribute to that legacy. It offers a deeper look into the philosophy of rallying and a rare chance to see the spirit of its era brought to life. \nFeatured Cars\n• 1937 Delahaye 135M\n• 1938 Jaguar SS-100\n• 1950 Talbot-Lago T26\n• 1954 Austin-Healey 100\n• 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing \nTickets\nGeneral Admission: $12–15 (available at the door or online)\nFree for Members and Children under 18 \nWhether you are a lifelong rally fan or discovering the sport for the first time\, this Demo Day offers a thoughtful and dynamic tribute to one of the most demanding and captivating forms of motorsport. \nAdmission is included with regular museum entry.
