A New Chapter in Motorsport Storytelling

Passing the Torch from Evening With A Legend to Voices of Endurance

Before launching Enduroverse and Voices of Endurance, David Lowe served as the U.S. Administrator for the ACO, where he helped grow and strengthen the endurance racing community in the United States and created the Evening with the Legends series. Today, through Enduroverse, he continues that mission by bringing together voices from across the entire endurance racing world.

David Lowe is the former U.S. Administrator for the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), where he led the development and expansion of the ACO community within the United States. During his tenure, membership and engagement grew significantly through the creation of fan-focused events, community activations, and direct interaction opportunities between drivers and endurance racing supporters.

David was also the creator of the “Evening with a Legend” series, which brought together notable figures from endurance racing, in particular the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in a relaxed and conversational format designed to strengthen the connection between the sport’s competitors and its passionate fan base.

As the endurance racing landscape continues to evolve, David has now transitioned these efforts into “Voices of Endurance,” a broader initiative under Enduroverse, focused on celebrating the entire endurance racing community — including drivers, teams, engineers, manufacturers, historians, and fans from across the sport.

The mission remains the same: preserving and growing the culture, stories, and community that make endurance racing unique.

Next on Grid…

David Cowart was primarily an IMSA standout, known for GTO championships and the Red Lobster Racing BMW M1 program. His Le Mans appearance came during the era when American IMSA teams frequently brought Porsche 935 variants to France. He competed once at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 1982, driving a Porsche 935L for Bob Akin Motor Racing. Although his Le Mans run ended early, Cowart’s endurance racing legacy is stronger at Sebring, where he competed 11 times and later became a co‑promoter helping preserve the event during a difficult period.

Voices of Endurance will be hosted by GTM’s very own Crew Chief Eric. Familiar to many as the host of Evening With a Legend, he has now transitioned to Voices of Endurance — continuing to share stories from the paddock and pit lane while exploring the people and moments that define endurance racing. A lifelong motorsports enthusiast, racer, and coach, he also hosts the acclaimed Break/Fix Podcast and founded the Motoring Podcast Network, which now boasts more than 600 episodes in its catalog.
